After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• practically apply the knowledge obtained from the associated lecture
• practically apply the relevant design methods
• correctly respect the limitations of the chosen method in a practical application
• design, execute and evaluate a technical presentation

The didactic concept is to extend the associated lecture, in particular the practical application of the acquired knowledge and the collection of experiences, and the encountering of limitations, while solving the design problems.This will put the graduate in the position to directly and effectively apply the acquired skills in practice.

Practical design problems are solved in small teams and the results (solution strategy, problems, measurement results) are presented to the other teams and discussed. The grading considers the quality of the solution (75%) as well as that of the presentation (25%).

This course is an enhancement of the associated VU with the same name and can only be attended in conjunction with it.
