- Electromagnetic propagation for centimeter and millimeter waves on waveguides, and in free space, as well as in the presence of interacting objects (scattering, diffraction, Fresnel zones)
- Antenna types for these wavelengths
- System design: link budget
These practical aspects broaden the content of Chapters 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the course VU Wave Propagation.

This course consists of three lectures and a practical part.
The lectures are held in seminar room CG 0402.
Monday, 13.03.2017 from 13:00 to 15:00: Propagation effects.Monday, 03.04.2017 from 13:00 to 15:00: Antennas for such wavelengths.Monday, 08.05.2017 from 13:00 to 15:00: System aspects.
Continuously, during the practical part, based on the final report by the group.
Successful completion of the exam "Wave Propagation" (course no. 389.064) is required (or equivalent).
