Aim of course

Acquire deeper knowledge and understanding in current topics on industrial automation by individual projects on selected topics from the following list:

  • Mechatronics
  • Instrumentation
  • Optical metrology
  • Scanning measurement systems and sensors
  • Image processing for automation
  • Component-based and modular automation
  • Service-oriented architecture in industrial automation systems

Subject of course

Project-oriented work by means of a concrete project encompassing the following tasks:

  • Project preparation (project plan)
  • Working on the project
  • Project documentation and presentation
