Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the principles, formalized instruments and recent approaches of urban development, planning culture and the development of social changes in time in the context of Central and Southeast European urbanized areas. The aim of the module is to deepen professional and methodical competences. Students acquire knowledge in the field of urbanism by learning about the development of the region’s economic, ecological, social and cultural urban-rural continuum, historical and contemporary approaches as well as instruments of design, planning and regulation.
