After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the very complex subject areas in housing production and their interrelationships in a historical, societal and social context.
In this course, urban production is analyzed and rediscovered. In the productive city people work not only in office buildings or home offices, but also in workshops and industrial halls. Which companies market themselves with a “Made in Vienna” label? Is the production in the city visible, connected to the neighborhood, hidden in the inner block or does it function anonymously on the outskirts? New impulses are given to see the topic of new possibilities of working and production in the city.
