Der Forschungsbereich Computergestützte Biomechanik an der TU-Wien stellt die Ingenieurwissenschaften in den Dienst der menschlichen Gesundheit. Wir forschen in den Bereichen Prävention, Behandlung und Nachsorge von Erkrankungen des Bewegungsapparates. Dazu verwenden wir vor allem Methoden der numerischen Biomechanik aber auch experimentelle Methoden (http:\\bmlab.kl.ac.at).
Unsere Forschung soll in medizinische Innovationen münden und Menschen helfen.
Concept (English)
The research divistion computational biomechanics at TU Vienna puts engineering sciences at the service of human health. We conduct research in the areas of prevention, treatment and aftercare of musculoskeletal disorders. To this end, we mainly use methods of numerical biomechanics but also experimental methods (http:\\bmlab.kl.ac.at). Our research should lead to medical innovations and help people.
