The comprehensive integration approach used in GUGLE aims at drawing an energetic Master plan, a technical feasibilty study (TFS) for two Viennese districts Penzing and Alsergrund containing within their borders every aspect of a smart city life and all kinds of energy services. The TFS serves as gate towards advanced regional, national & EU demonstrations by designing, implementing and validating a plausible scientific framework for proper actions and co-operation towards future sustainable energy policies in end-use sectors for 2020 / 2050 targets.
