In the frame of this project the Institute for Water Quality is supporting Doz.Dr. Andreas Farnleitner in respect to the implementation of the project funded by the Austrian Science Foundation called "Fecal Source Tracking Along the Urban Waste Water Path". The task of the project is the development of analytical tools and testing of the applicability for characterization of fecal emissions from waste water treatment plants for new fecal indicators. The role of the Institute can be summarized as follows: Selection of waste water treatment plants for investigations and support during the investigations Chemical Analysis Interpretation of physical-chemical data of waste water treatment plants
