Assigned research project
Within the framework of the strategic research alliance between the university and Verbung AG, a comparison of speed-variable generator technologies for hydro power plants in the range of 100 kW to 10 MW will be carried out. Based on detailed data of individual projects, various arrangements are compared against their advantages and drawbacks. Additionally, different control strategies are analysed with respect to their energy yield.
