V2G-Inverter - Multi-purpose inverter for smart grids: analysis of the functional chain distribution network to battery witz bi-directional charging operation
01.01.2011 - 30.09.2013
Research funding project
The aim of the project V2G-inverter is to develop the economically, legally and technically optimized system architecture for the functional chain from the distribution network to the battery of an electric vehicle under consideration of a bi-directional charging operation. The core research activities will be the development, simulation and verification of different topologies or switching modes for the V2G-inverter. Therefore, it will be necessary to specify, simulate and develop application-specific semi-conductors for the V2G inverter. Another target is to elaborate the basis for a cost structure of differ-ent V2G scenarios/services (e.g. net services, control energy, etc.) as a basis for business models.
