Assigned research project
The company Hypersond is developing an new geothermal probe system with the aim to achieve a higher energy efficiency. The Technical University of Vienna is working out a system concept for a professional performance measurement to compare this new probe system with conventional probes. Geotechnical consulting and the selection of a proper construction site, in terms of geological aspects , as well as defining a measurement concept are also an important part of this research project. With the received measurement data, preliminary projections should give an fundamential statement about the performance of this new geothermal probe.
