Manual and examples to introduce ecopolitical advisable parking regulations

Assigned research project
On behalf of the the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) the Department for Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering compiled and analyzed regulations and guidelines regarding the number and organisation of parking spaces for motorized individual transport for Austria in the face of improvement of environmental states. These basic principles have to be reduced to practice now. To accelerate the process a handbook for parking regulations and two examples of regulations (city and country) will be developed with the involved local and regional authorities. The result will be published in an adequate way.
