Sound propagation calculations of a scrapping facility in Vienna will be conducted for the client as part of the procedure for obtaining permission for factory equipment. The dispersion calculations, which will not be performed by the Vienna University of Technology, requires prior knowledge of the interior factory hall sound levels to determine the relevant points. Within the framework of the current project, the Vienna University of Technology will calculate the relevant interior hall sound levels using a computer simulation program (ray tracing method).
