Multi-Antenna RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Reader at 2.45 GHz with Adaptive Crosstalk Compensation

03.01.2011 - 31.12.2013
Scholarship
During this project an experimental multi-antenna RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader will be implemented. The reader will work at the 2.45 GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) frequency band. Furthermore, an adaptive crosstalk compensation circuitry is part of the reader design. This setup allows to evaluate the reliability increase due to multi-antenna techniques and novel functionalities like spatial tracking of transponders can be tested in realistic scenarios. Moreover, the adaptive crosstalk compensation will be tested in a multi-antenna reader setup.
