Cloud computing research lab

01.01.2011 - 31.12.2015
Assigned research project

Pacific Control and TU Vienna will establish a "Pacific Control Cloud Computing Research Lab" at Vienna to perform scientific research in ICT enabling managed energy solutions for buildings and infrastructure. The "Lab" will be engaged with various strategic scientific developments, e.g. review the design and development strategy and roll out plan and conduct scientific research in the field of virtual software services (g-bots) developed by Pacific Control for deployment, using ICT enabling managed services solutions for buildings and infrastructure. To provide its users the ability to link and view all critical sub-systems in the facility leveraging the Pacific Control's enterprise platform "Galaxy" as an interfacing service delivery platform, Pacific Control has identified that with its virtual software technology (g-bots) a new paradigm can be created to revolutionize the way in which managed services for buildings and infrastructure in the fraternity of energy and facility management can be delivered achieving substantial energy savings and operations costs.
