Research funding project
The main goal of research is to define long term integral and life cycle oriented renovation sce-narios within the common objective of preserving long term value of building stock, with the emphasis on the notion of sufficiency und the principle of open options for future use. The project will develop an integrated approach to sustainable renovation of historical building stocks and pre-1970th stocks which is based on common objectives, a common procedure, the common use of planning tools and a specific national application which results from a historical, technical, social and cultural understanding of the specific national stock fragments.
