Development of an configuration model for adaptible logistics chains

Research funding project
Industries with a high degree of customization in their products are confronted with strong turbulences in their supply chains, causing additional transportation. To counter these pro-blems proactively a model for the configuration of adaptable logistics chains will be developed. The goal is to realize cost savings through optimized transport and subsequently pro-duce corresponding ecological effects.
