Energy efficient drying and burning process for high performance and chemical resistant refractory materials
01.12.2009 - 28.02.2012
Research funding project
In close cooperation with a leading manufacturer of refractory materials (Rath AG) the drying and burning processes of porous and dense refractories will be optimized. Reduction of en-ergy input, i.e. consumption of gas- and electricity, and optimization of product quality as well as the investigation of a possible increase in productivity will be the main research goals.
