Residential Land Price Changes in Vienna

The study is concerned with land price changes and land mobility in the residential land markets of Vienna 1987-2009. The data used come from a public register called Kaufpreissammlung, which is administered by a local government body (Magistratsabteilung 69 - Zentrale Liegenschaftsevidenz). We analyze land mobility and price changes for the entire market and for urban submarkets. Price changes are analyzed by median prices and hedonic price indices.
