Modeling, Emulation and Management of complex Traction Batteries

Research funding project
The proposed project addresses highly dynamic emulation of electric energy storage systems by battery simulators for testing of alternative propulsion systems on power testbeds. On the one hand, new and innovative approaches for the dynamic control of the output voltage are investigated and on the other hand complex real-time battery models for usage on battery simulators will be conceived. In addition, a Battery Monitoring System will be included in the battery simulator.
