Reuse and Reusability of Variable HW/SW Interfaces

Research funding project
With increasing variants of electronic components in automobiles, the variability of their Hardware/Software Interfaces (HSIs) will become unmanageable without strategic reuse. Our comprehensive approach to making HSIs reusable includes research on Case-based Reuse, Model-driven Technology, and semi-automatic generation of Product Lines by use of similarities and Machine Learning, with the expected result of more efficient HSI production.
