Assigned research project
The advisory professorship is part of an ERDF project of the TKK Lahti Center: "TKK:n kummiprofessuuritoiminta Päijät-Hämeessä 2008-2013" (The advisory professorship activities of TKK in the Päijät-Häme Region in 2008-2013). The aim of the activities is, in accordance with the research strategy of the TKK Lahti Center, to intensify research in the field of environmental technology and related sciences by participating in the development of regional research and innovation activities and their internationalisation (in cooperation with industry, the Lahti University Consortium and other actors). Participation in the development and implementation of the education leading to a degree, continuing education and the development services for businesses provided by the TKK Lahti Center in its key areas of expertise are agreed on separately in each case. The TKK Lahti Center is involved in the cooperation, planning, implementation and administration of the advisory professorship activities.
