Assigned research project
Aim of project is the experimental investigation of highly grain oriented SiFe sheets as applied for power transformer cores. Especially in the so called T-joint region, the phenomenon of rotational magnetization (RM) is arising. RM-patterns will be simulated on a Rotational Single Seet Tester (RSST). The corresponding multi-directional magnetostriction and permeability will be analyzed. Further, the losses of material will be measured.
