Case Studies - Potentials of large innercity mixed-use Developments

Assigned research project

The German Institute for Town Centre Development (DSSW), a unit of the German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development, aims to make the processes and logic of large mixed-use developments in town centers more transperent. Within this framework the chair for real estate development at TU Wien surveys 20-30 cases concerning processes used, actors involved and also concerning functional specialities of these real estate developments. The final target is to generate guidelines for large mixed-use development in town centers.
