Passenger Oriented Airport Operations Management

01.04.2008 - 30.06.2010
Research funding project
Unexpected events cause a cascade of decisions to be made by different organisations at airports. Though the decisions are interdependent, they are currently made without coordination. This project investigates the potential benefits of cooperative decision strategies supported by simulations taking into account passenger flows in the airport. In contrast to existing systems, the approach considers the passenger as a core player and includes relevant real world data.
