Potentiality for implementation of geothermal energy systems in Austria

01.06.2008 - 31.03.2011
Research funding project
When surveying the actual potential of renewable energy, geothermal energy is too often not sufficiently taken into account although its theoretical potential is comparatively by far the highest. This is due to the fact that its technical potential is significantly more complex to evaluate than the potential of other energy sources. To remedy this shortcoming, a detailed scientific analysis with contribution of various experts is needed.
