Comparison of worm gears

Assigned research project
Three worm gears for application in escalators are analysed with respect to some technical aspects. The parameters to be examined in test bed experiments are the mass of wear, the gear efficiency as well as the oil- and housing temperatures. Moreover, the material properties of the gearing (bronze) should be examined.
