Research funding project
In this project fluidised bed gasification and its use to process biomass/waste together with coal at different operation scales and applications and the technology for CO2 capture/reduction will be investigated. The effects of different fuels, composition and gasification medium on the quality of the producer gas will bealso evaluated. Particular focus is on novel technologies for gasification coupled with CO2 sequestration and for producing hydrogen rich syngas from coal and biomass/waste.
