Last year (2013) it was due to the new statutory assessment process of the microbiological and hygienic water quality according to the EU Bathing Water Directive on Lake Neusiedl in Podersdorf for the classification of poor water quality. For this reason the creation of a microbiological-hygienic overall concept for the Neusiedler lake was strongly recommended (Kirschner et al 2014) recently. Hydrologically view the detailed recording and explanation of the sewage system in Podersdorf is a necessary condition for the freight calculations of the various possible sources of existing microbiological faecal contamination. These operations are the main focus of this project.
