Nanostructures for Atomic Physics (NAP)

01.03.2007 - 31.07.2009
Research funding project
In the framework of this project we will develop the nano technology to integrate atomic quantum physics and photonics on a single integrated optical device. The new integrated AtomChips will form a robust link between the atomic physics quantum world and the photonic quantum world of linear optics quantum computation (LOQC) and quantum cryptography thereby building a cornerstone for a future quantum technology.
