Research funding project
In this project, possible implementation choices for UMTS HSPA and LTE are explored, with the aim to provide computationally feasible, high-performance implementation guidelines. In particular, efficient implementation of the MIMO extensions to the HSDPA standard, radioresource management algorithms, as well as channel estimation and prediction are studied. System-level modelling of a complex network of users and base stations (Node B) aims at providing insight in radio resource management and network planning for HSDPA/HSUPA/LTE networks.
