The project "Wiener Musik-Experimente" (Viennese music-experiments) aims on promoting the artistic exploration of new music technologies and their use in live concerts. These concerts are held as one-day festival for local bands and artists. The only requirement: the artists use newly developed technologies and new musical instruments and interpret their familiar music or style of music. The degree of interpretation lies entirely with the protagonists. Support from the technical side is provided by students of the "Human-Computer Interaction Group" at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).
