Design, construction and exhibition of an energy efficient and sustainable home by a students team from Austria (Team Austria) for the competition "Solar Decathlon 2013" in Irvine, California (USA), awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The house must be powered by solar energy, meet the criteria of sustainability and implement results of research projects and demonstrate effective CoT.

The Team Austria prototype “LISI” will


• be affordable, attractive and easy to use
• provide comfortable and healthy indoor climate by environmental friendly manner
• supply energy for household appliances for kitchen, cleaning and maintenance
• produce sufficient (warm) water
• produce as much or even more energy than it consumes.
