Research funding project
The general goal is to develop an integrative design mehtodology for multimaterial lightweight structural components. The hierarchical concept considers the micromechanical behavior at the interfaces and a macroscopic structural behavior. Optimization strategies in combination with discretisation methods are the mathematical tools which will be used.
