The former building of the Commerce Court in the Vienna's 1. district; a Art Nouveau building by architect Anton Schwarz, opened in 1908. The building was in use till October 2003, when the Court was moved to the new location in the City Tower Wien Mitte. A project development with masterplan was commisioned by BIG, in the search for new use-concepts and potential users. Concept - 3 options were researched and presented: - 5* Hotel: ground floor - lobby, restaurant with a bar and conference area 1st floor: a large, roofed atrium with palm trees as focal point, communication area and "public space" upper floors - generous suits with 35-55m², the communication area oriented towards atrium - Flexible offices: Open-plan offices, as well as mid-aisle option with cell-offices possible The concepts allows one tenant as well as division in several tenant-units Underground garage with 80 parkingspaces - Luxury Appartmens - high-quality concierge appartment house, consisting of unit-types of 87m², 100-110 m², 200-240m² Ground floor is used as public area, offering a fitness center, boutiques, deli...
