Cost Opt Development of a method for determining the cost-optimal levels of requirements for the energy performance of buildings - Focus housing

01.07.2012 - 31.10.2012
Assigned research project

The requirements for buildings according to a European Commission regulation should be close to the cost optimal level. Optimal cost is understood in this context as determining the life-cycle costs, taking into account the residual value at the end of the period. Within the project, the method is developed with regard to the calculation of the energy consumption and life cycle costs for the area single-family homes and multi-family homes and applied for the current micro-economic situation.
