01.01.2024 - 31.12.2026
Auftragsforschungsprojekt

Copernicus Global Land Operations Lot 2 (C-GLOPS2) is part of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS), which is a component of the European Union's Earth Observation program. This specific lot focuses on the operational production, delivery, and ramp-up of the “Cryosphere and Water” bio-geophysical parameters at a global scale. The regularly updated data reflect changes in the environment, allowing for timely and accurate monitoring for the benefit of diverse groups of stakeholders. Within this framework, C-GLOPS2 ensures the provision of open source, high-quality and up-to-date land monitoring data that supports natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, climate change monitoring, disaster management, and urban planning.
