The Expert will perform work under Task 3: Analysis of capacity potential for the industrial supply of drop-in advanced biofuels, which is led by Ms. Dina Bacovsky. The Expert, according to the project design, will have the role of the Technology Expert focusing on fermentation pathways (ethanol, biogasoline, ATJ-SPK). The expected time period for providing the services is foreseen to be 3 weeks in total. The exact services that the Expert will provide are as follows:

·        Providing a list of emerging technologies (TRL<6) in this group of technologies

·        Providing a timeline for these emerging technologies to reach maturity (TRL9)

·        Estimation of the evolution of industrial capacity for advanced biofuels production in Europa for this group of technologies (both emerging technologies and already mature (TRL 6-9) technologies, assuming that the political framework will be favorable)

Providing their view on the evolution of biofuel prices and biofuel production costs
