Sustainable energy through sustainable plants by means of intelligent condition monitoring in real time

01.01.2023 - 31.03.2024
Research funding project

The company Inmox GmbH has set itself the goal of making its contribution to sustainable mechanical engineering. By using a new sensor technology, wind turbines are to be monitored optimally and efficiently in order to make the best possible use of their life cycle, in accordance with the motto "sustainable energy through sustainable plants" by means of intelligent condition monitoring.with an innovative sensor technology that collects both quantitative and new, qualitative information about the condition of the gearbox and transfers this into a continuous risk assessment in real time. This ensures operational safety and operational readiness at any given time and thus contributes to security of supply. In addition, predictive maintenance is made possible, which can save a lot of money through reduced downtimes and the avoidance of downtimes, as well as the efficient, resource-saving use of components and lubricants, and the extension of life cycles, thus contributing to climate protection.
