In this project the actual tools of the company Mitsubishi will be investigated in dependence to the machining quality and to their standing time while machining fibre reinforced materials. The next step is to define approaches for an improvement of the tool performance with the information of the experimental work. The third step is to develop together with Mitsubishi a new generation of tools and to test and analyse these new tools in experiments.
