In this project, ionic liquids will be investigated in open sorption systems for air conditioning
for the first time. This could induce a technological leap in this respective area. This new
working agents could help to overcome fundamental issues which circumvent an economic
reasonable use of this technology. The technological and economic potential for developing
a prototype will be quantified based on experimental and theoretical results.
