TU Wien will support the research of the Client onto regional public transport in Europe, in particular the ones as public services, including the aspects of local governments’ responsibilities, bidding and contracting between the authority and operators, and policies from the perspective of sustainability. The Client and the University will jointly investigate the organization, roles, financial resources, and minimum transportation service level in Europe, where such advanced efforts are being made.
