Synergistische CO2-Umwandlung und Wasserstoffentwicklung

02.01.2023 - 01.01.2024
Research funding project

This project aims to convert a current waste material (carbon dioxide) into formic acid, which is believed to be a promising hydrogen storage material. With sequential reactor connections, the formic acid can eventually be converted to hydrogen gas with the help of sunlight, and excess carbon dioxide can be reused to produce formic acid.
