Computer Aided Evacuation Management

02.11.2020 - 01.03.2022
Research funding project

The objective of this research project is to develop ontologies and management tools in connection with the evacuation of buildings in the building life cycle, with special consideration of the usage phases. These are developed on the basis of combinations of existing scientific, technical knowledge and new knowledge. The starting point for the considerations are approaches and methods from BIM. A high level of abstraction (generalizability) is aimed for.

To understand the interrelationships and relationships developed between the abstractly formulated data, methods, interfaces, rspkt. To test the knowledge, these are specified to the extent that a software prototype for checking legal conformity (for Austria) can be developed and validated using "case studies".
