Research funding project

Aim of the project is to carry out fundamental investigations to establish European standards for the characterization of solid biofuels. Specific target of the department of Chemical Engineering is the investigation of the ash melting behaviour of ashes from solid biofuels with the aid of a heating microscope. With the results of this fundamental research a preliminary standard will be elaborated.
