In the IEA Annex 55 are data collected and created tools that determine thermal rehabilitation of a building which brings the highest energy savings at the least risk of damage. The developed tools are based on probabilistic methods, and deliver as expected values and expected deviations r for the energy consumption, the risk of failure and life-cycle costs. These results are to builders, designers and contractors, the decision of the choice of thermal rehabilitation (type, arrangement, thickness of heat insulation ¤ INSULATION, controlled living space ventilation ...) easier. The developed methods are applied to real-life examples. From the results will create a redevelopment guide for building.
