- Biosynthese von pflanzlichen Sekundärmetaboliten- Sekundärmetabolite und Pathogenabwehr bei Pflanzen- Pflanzeninhaltsstoffe als Pflanzenschutzmittel- Diverse realitätsnahe Testsysteme für Wirkstoffe gegen pflanzenpathogene Schädlinge (z.B. Einzelblütentests bei Feuerbrandbakterien) inkl. phytotoxischer Evaluierung)- Bestimmung der antioxidativen Kapazität - Entwicklung von einfachen Nachweismöglickeiten von Pflanzenpathogenen vor Ort ohne intensiven Einsatz von Geräten oder Personen mit Spezialkenntnissen- Ernährung- Pflanzenzüchtung [Fokus auf gartenbauliche Nutzpflanzen (Obst-, Gemüse-, Zierpflanzenbau)]- Populärwissenschaftliche Vermittlung von Forschungsergebnissen
