My work focuses on the production of the Soil Moisture (SM) dataset within the European Space Agency Climate Change Initiative (ESA CCI). I contribute to improving existing products, such as the Root-Zone Soil Moisture (RZSM) product, and the development of new ones, including the sub-daily product. I am the team lead of the TU Wien ESA CCI SM team.

In addition, I am involved in the validation of these large-scale, gridded satellite-based datasets using in situ (ISMN) observations.
