Meine Forschung auf dem Gebiet der konjugierten organischen Verbindungen konzentriert sich auf das Design und die Synthese zyklischer Moleküle, so genannter konjugierter Makrocyclen, die beispielsweise für Batterieelektroden und organische Elektronik verwendet werden können, sowie auf die Entwicklung neuer synthetischer Ansätze für aromatische organische Verbindungen.

My research in the field of conjugated organic compounds focuses on the design and synthesis of cyclic molecules known as conjugated macrocycles, which can be used for battery electrodes and organic electronics, and on the development of new synthetic approaches to aromatic organic compounds.
