Osman Bodur
I am a mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience in R&D, precision technologies, and manufacturing solutions. Currently, I work as a Post-Doc Researcher and R&D Engineer at TU Wien, focusing on advanced manufacturing and precision measurement technologies to develop innovative products. I led the design of HoloLase, a smart medical laser safety glasses project that secured €600,000 in AWS funding. Moreover, I play a significant role in the GigaBot project, a 5G-based autonomous mobile robot for remote work in manufacturing, funded with €727,000 from FFG. I also teach courses on CAD-CAM-CAQ integration, production metrology, and quality management. My technical skills include 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA), CAE analysis (MATLAB, ABAQUS), and quality assurance methods like CMM, Computed Tomography, and Laser Interferometry. Overall, I contribute to smart manufacturing projects to enhance production efficiency and quality through innovative solutions.
